Dear Parents,

The orientation service (SOI) is launching in collaboration with The Council Academy, Harvard Model Congress Europe for high school students.

Harvard Model Congress Europe is the premier US and international government simulation conference in Europe, run entirely by Harvard undergraduates. Delegates from various countries engage in discussions on a wide range of US and globally significant issues. The Council seeks candidates who thrive under challenges and are willing to undergo rigorous training. This includes mastering the HMC rules of procedure, crafting exceptional documents, and developing essential skills such as diplomacy, leadership, public speaking, negotiations, persuasion, and research.

Beyond the conference, the program offers an enriching experience by providing students with the opportunity to explore Berlin and visit touristic sites throughout the city.

Here are some of the program details:

Date: March 2027:  The conference is scheduled to take place from March 13 till 15, 2027. Students will be traveling for 6 days from March 12 to 17, 2027, to attend the conference and explore touristic sites in Berlin.

Location: the Estrel Berlin Hotel

Training: Accepted participants will undergo training with the Council. They will be trained on negotiation skills, public speaking, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and the technicalities of the conference, and The Council will follow up their conference preparation.

Price: $ $4,200 including air fare tickets, accommodation and breakfast, health and travel insurance, conference registration fees, training, and chaperoning by The Council. Please note that students will be accompanied at all times by chaperones from The Council.

Registration Date deadline: 26 October 2026. After registration, we will schedule a meeting with parents to explain the program’s details, conduct interviews, and submit the final list of names.
